You're never too old to blow bubbles

The Red Hat Chickadees met at Sharon's Restaurant in Salem. The theme was, of course, Valentines day....
There was a nice crowd and the food was great.

A fun poem was read by Betty Foster. Our hostess for the day, was Mary Albert, far right in this picture.
The tables looked lovely.

We played several games. One game we were to take a number of candy hearts out of a bowl and we had to tell one thing about ourselves for each heart. This was very interesting and a clever way to find out things we didn't know about our Red Hat sisters.
Terri Doughty is demonistrating how to blow bubbles with one of our gifts we got from our wonderful hostess, Mary Albert. Mary was assisted by her daughter.
The lovely Janet Pratt, with a gift she received from the Chicadees.
Mary Knight caught on the to bubble blowing pretty quickly,

and so did Sheila Halterman (me)...hee

It was a very fun and rewarding afternoon to be with our sisters and friends sharing good food, good conversation, fun and of course, the bubble blowing.....because you're never too old to have fun!
