Red Hat Fall Fling

Ramblin' Roses do the Electric Slide (well, a couple of us, at least)

Here are Janet and I doing the Electric Slide at the Fall Fling. The video is kind of grainy due to too much light coming in the windows, but you get the idea.

Non-Golf night with the Red Hat ladies,

Golf night??? Leave it up to Janet to always give us a chuckle and make the night extra fun.
Sandwiches at the Mini-golf ice cream shop. Then we were supposed to play golf.
We had a great time just visiting, and decided to skip the golf night and relax.
Bonita brought wedding pictures from her daughters wedding.
Our group was a little small tonight, but summer is always a busy time for many of our ladies, and work schedules have been a big problem too.
Well, I just had to try on Janets golf attire....I think it looks better on her.

As we were leaving, some guy buying ice cream, wanted to know how much it would cost for him to wear Janet's hat.....well, doesn't he just look dapper??...........NOT!
It was a fun night, as always. Oh, and the ice cream was good too!

Wine, Bingo and Karaoke

Well, we had a grand time tonight! We started out with some wine tasting..Janet had everything set up out in her garage, because the karaoke equipment was out there. She had the table all decorated with roses and pink flamigoes....so cute. We had about 8 kinds of wine. We had lots of food too, my meatblobs (cause they were shaped weird after I fried them, they were no longer balls), were very yummy,. They were sweet and sour, and the meatballs have lots of dried onion, Worcestershire sauce and parsley in them, which tastes great with the sauce (bbq sauce and grape jelly) We laughed so much, I about peed my pants. It was Velvet and Wilmas birthdays, so we sang and had cake too. Then we played bingo, which is always funny because the balls were falling on the floor, and we were all laughing about dropping our balls, then I got under the table to find one of them and I said, 'Oh, here it is, by your bag' (meaning her hang bag), well, they all cracked up at that. (bad girls) There some very nice Bingo prizes, like the little ceramic pig in the picture below. Then it was time for some karaoke, mom and Janet and I sang "Ramblin Rose", which is our Red Hat theme song, because we are the Ramblin' Roses. Our "performance" included : Girls just want to have fun, Sweet Dreams are made of these, How much is that doggie in the window....why?...I don't know... :P, Then Janet and I sang, 'Sea Cruise" Some of our Red Hat sisters were telling stories on their husbands again, and we were laughing sooo much. The chocolate and cheesecake were so good with the sweet wines, then the rest of the food was more salty, so the dry wines were best with them.

Look at the mischief on the faces of these two.....!
Wilma pouring herself a little wine.........again!
I'm always happy when there's food...yep, yep, yep!
Cheers, mom!
Salute!
From the look on mom's face, looks like she may have tasted ALL of the wines. (Don't kill me, it was just the camera.....;-)

Janet, deep in her "cups".....

Judy tried to edu-ma-cate us on the different wines, but mostly we just drank them and played bingo....Sorry, Judy, we appreciate your knowledge of wines, we weren't very good students....:-)

You next American Idols.....................NOT!.....Don't I look SO attractive with my mouth open?

A mysterious murder occured on the night of January 17, 2008. Below is a gallery of the sleazy, incentric and strange suspects. Who dun it?A couple of hussies.....I mean, Alexis DuPre, and Melissa DuPre...
Have you ever heard of electrolysis?
Cayenne Pepper, with that spoiled brat, Alexis and Bourbon DuPre....they look innocent don't they? They aren't fooling anyone.
That floozie sure likes to have her picture taken.....and sitting next to her is Elise..

Ah, is this a clue to the murderer?????
And the plot thickens..
Melissa DuPre, Connika Gothica, and Elise St. Gresch
That floozie, Melissa DuPre
Stephen Peek....Kathy is that really you?
Since I didn't get to come to the party, here is what my costume was like. I had my husband take some pictures and I was going to print this one and put it around a book and use it as a prop for my character. I was going to just bug everyone all night: "Have you read my new book? Have you read my book??? ha ha....so I thought I would put this picture here anyway.
